Some thoughts about Aquaman #29

Can Aquaman be the hero Atlantis needs?

Arthur has been escaping from his role as a King for a while but now he will have to remember that people still want him to be that person.

Another issue, another quite entertaining story.

Dan Abnett continues his storyarc about the renegade Aquaman and how that affects the underwater world. I'm really impressed about how the author is able to handle multiple scenarios and characters which is clearly demonstrated in the development that occurs between Arthur and Dolphin, Mera and Garth, and Vulko and Ondine, about how all of these different sides of the story are connected and are able to explore more aspects of the characters (This certainly presents one of the most interesting takes on Vulko I've seen in a while).

The worldbuilding is also pretty solid due to the different mythos that are being explored that makes the universe around Atlantis much bigger. All of this culminates in a pretty interesting cliffhanger that puts everything that happened to Arthur in perspective.

Stjepan Sejic remains as one of the most important persons here due to his beautiful artwork that makes the script even better by depicting wonderful environments and especially great expressions for the characters that tell the story just by looking at them.

Excellent chapter, this arc gets better and better.
