Some thoughts about Nightwing #28

Can Nightwing escape Spyral?

Minos has returned and is decided to make Dick's life hell and keep control of Spyral, that is unless Dick finds the right words to fight him.

This little arc concludes in a satisfying enough way.

Tim Seeley delivers a new chapter with the usual understanding of what made the Grayson title so good. The characterization is once again quite on-point thanks to how the author depicts all the classic cast from the previous series perfectly depicting their relationships and how they worked with one another, the return of Spyral concepts is appreciated and Minos gets an appropriate although a bit quick, send-off.

Plus, Seeley continues to set-up new upcoming stories including multiple sub-plots based on Dick's relationships as well as the arrival of an old enemy that I can't wait to see again.

Javier Fernandez and Miguel Mendonca share the pencils and their styles are sadly not a good fit for one another, Mendonca softer angles don't quite match Fernandez rougher and more angular work but is still not bad looking.

Solid still, hope the next one offers more content though.
