Some thoughts about Hal Jordan & the Green Lantern Corps #28

Hal Jordan will need extra help in his fight against Gods.

Hal is trying to catch Lightray and is not even able to get close to him. However, an unexpected visit might give him an extra hand.

This is simply a great character-centric issue.

Robert Venditti delivers a new chapter where he explores even more of Hal's psyche. The characterization works quite well due that the writer integrates a person who is really close to Hal into the story in mysterious ways but complements the plot perfectly since it gives the protagonist the push he needed to continue.

Speaking of which, this also works quite well continuity-wise since the author bases this conversation on the dynamic Geoff Johns created during his run, is quite faithful to what was already established and therefore quite accurate to the history of the series. The pacing also works really nicely.

Rafa Sandoval provides the artwork and is stunning with multiple vibrant scenes and powerful segments that are depicted beautifully.

Quite entertaining read, the next one better come soon.
