Some thoughts about Gotham Academy: Second Semester #3

Who is in control of magic inside Gotham Academy?

Maps has been mindcontrolled by a mysterious witch who is collecting books for her own benefit. Now is up to Olive and her friends to find what is truly happening.

Yeah, this series continues to deliver a lot of charm.

Brenden Fletcher, Becky Cloonan and Karl Kerschl conclude their little initial storyarc by focusing on both the supernatural and the characters that have made this property so great since the beginning. The characterization continues to be quite enjoyable due that you start seeing even more hidden aspects of the cast especially from Colton who shows some surprising traits and maybe if things go his way, this might make me actually like Kyle.

The plot itself is still cemented on the strange events that usually happens in the academy and how everything is connected to some of its members. As usual, this also progresses an overaching story that will continue to develope in upcoming issues.

Adan Archer remains in art duties and while his art has improved a lot since he first started working in the series, his storytelling is still not the best since some scenes are not as strongly depicted as they should.

Still, this was a pretty fun chapter and makes me excited about the future.
