Some thoughts about The Flash #11

The Flash will have to fight against the darkness.

Kid Flash has been captured by The Shade's shadows and now they're going after Iris. Now, Barry will have to use all of his skills to save both of them.

Last issue might have been underwhelming but this one? Boy, Joshua Williamson really compensated for it.

For one, the author finally acknowledges what happened to The Shade and his current behavior and is fortunately connected to the work James Robinson did on the character while also exploring some new and at the same time classic aspects of him. It was good to see such an accurate representation.

Plus, the characterization is still pretty solid with all the members of the cast connecting to the current predicament and how that is related to them. The way how the realm of The Shade is explored is also pretty compelling.

Davide Gianfelice handles the artwork and he has pretty clean style that is ideal for the characters while depicting some of the most bizarre aspects of the story nicely.

Quite enjoyable, hope the next one is just as good.
