There's a strange creature that is currently giving people some of Superman's abilities but not completely and even if that wasn't the case that wouldn't make them the Man of Tomorrow.
What can I say? I'm once again impressed about a Futures End tie-in.
Sholly Fisch developes a story where he explores in an excellent way how the world deals with Superman's absense just as well as what happens when some of them get his classic powers.
That's not the most interesting part of this though since Fisch implements this premise in a pretty creative way. What would happen to a person with superstrenght but not invulnerabilty? What would happen to a person with invulnerabity but without supersenses? Etc. It's a quite compelling concept.
It's also worth mentioning that the writer explores the importance of Superman of course and that makes it one of the best issues from this series in a while.
Pascal Alixe and Vicente Cifuentes are both handling the artwork for this issue and while their styles are not that similar, both still do a great work in their respective sections.
What an issue, I hope that Fisch gets more work in the future.
