Some thoughts about Teen Titans: Futures End #1

The Teen Titans no longer exist so other kids will have to take their place.

Tempest, Klarion the Witch Boy and Kid Flash have survived the war between worlds and have decided to become the heroes from this one, no matter if that could go against what the world wants.

This was a pretty satisfactory issue I would say.

Will Pfeifer continues his work on this title by bringing a stand-alone story where he explores the future with completely different characters and he does a fantastic job at doing so.

Most of these young heroes are from Earth 2 and despite that I don't see them having a place in that universe, they're still quite compelling characters who are worth reading about. This is possible thanks to their solid personalities, abilities and interaction.

Plus, it was great to see other new and surprising characters being introduced.

The villain is not exactly a truly original one since he seems to be evil for the sake of being evil but he still brings a good presence and serves his purpose.

About the artwork, Andy Smith is in charge of it and he does a quite solid job. His style is pretty competent and his characters look good while the story is told really well.

Overall, yet another good chapter from this run. Good to know.
