Some thoughts about Red Lanterns: Futures End #1

Guy Gardner has changed and for the first time in a while, this has been for the better.

The Red Lanterns are out of control and Guy si the only one who can stop them now that he has the power and hope of the blue ring. However, he will have to face one of his old allies if he wants to save the rest.

This is exactly what I was hoping for (Sorry for that).

Charles Soule brings a story where he utilizes the scenario of Futures End to tell a story where Guy has redeemed himself and now he's looking for everyone to do the same. The writer manages to once again capture all the personalities from all the characters who appear here and is great to see some of those moments, especially the ones concerning Guy, Bleez and Rankorr.

Speaking of Rankorr, that was quite a twist. The ending was also quite appropriate.

Jim Calafiore handles the pencils and his work continues to deliver great character models as well as detailed expressions and scenes.

This was definitely a strong issue and I'm disappointed that we won't see more like this.
