Billy's dad has gained the power of Shazam and now Billy will be forced to choose who gets to keep the power.
This chapter came sooner than expected and I'm glad it did.
Geoff Johns offers a new installment where he explores the ramifications of sharing the power. Billy's dad becoming part of the Shazam family was a surprising twist last time and here we see what actually happens when someone outside of the family gets such abilities. Johns create an interesting dilemma for Billy since he now has to choose who is his actual family and the choice is appropriate and satisfying.
The plot progresses at a nice pace since the worldbuilding continues with the Wozenderlands being introduced, creating new characters and a terrible conflict and leading the future.
Marco Santucci, Dale Eaglesham and Scott Kolins share the pencils and they do a pretty good job during their respective sections with a lot of detail.
Good read, this has been Johns' week.
