Is the world ready for the truth?
Superman has learned a lot because of recent events and he's ready to finally share his true identity to his people.
Credit where credit is due, this was actually a good issue.
I wasn't really expecting Brian Bendis to fulfill what was promised on the cover but he actually did. To make the story short, yes, Superman revealed his true identity of Clark Kent to the world and even more surprising is that Bendis actually handled this pretty well with the highlights being a strong scene between Clark and Perry White that didn't even have any words (surprising from Bendis) to convey the emotions and a final scene with Luthor returning to his human form without a single line after learning the truth which is the best we have seen from him since Scott Snyder basically took over the character.
Sure, is not like I expect this to last or to be executed that well in the long run since I know Bendis' work well enough to tell. In fact, that's what I'm fearing and is not like this really fixes how much of a mess the Superman books have been under his pen but so far is interesting enough.
Ivan Reis' art impresses as usual with beautiful characters and a vibrant style.
Good read, not sure what to expect next though.
