The Gotham City Monsters need another soldier.
Batwoman has decided to join the team for their fight against Melmoth and they will need all the help they can once that their enemy finds new allies.
Pretty satisfied with this one I must say.
Steve Orlando offers a new installment where he appropriately introduces Batwoman into the cast. Considering Orlando's appreciation for continuity, it makes a lot of sense to include Kate Kane for the story considering her own history with supernatural threats and if there's something that I can appreciate about Orlando, despite that his execution is not always the best, is that he creates on-point directions for characters (Martian Manhunter notwithstanding).
And there are also a lot of references to the rest of the DCU like when Melmoth mentions that now that Batwoman has joined the team they are "Seven Soldiers" which was a pretty damn cool and fitting moment. Plus, the appearance of perfect antagonists in the form of the Monster League of Evil shows Orlando's classic love for obscure characters.
Amancay Nahuelpan handles the art and is pretty solid with a clean style and expressive characters.
Good read, hope things stay this way.
