Why is Thomas Wayne fighting his son?
In another universe, Thomas was forced to see Bruce die and follow a path that made him unhappy. Now he's not willing to let his son make the same mistakes.
This one wasn't that bad actually.
Tom King stops the final fight between Bruce and Thomas to explore the motivations behind the actions of the latter and it really works for the most part. We see what prompted him to join Bane in his battle against Bruce and even his life in the Flashpoint universe which showcases a few details that were not explored before like his treatment to well-known villains and of course, his complicated relationship with Martha the Joker.
In that way it's successful since it also offers more content than you usually expect from this run but there is also the typical flaws like kinda awkward dialogue which makes some scenes not as effective as they should.
Jorge Fornes handles the art and is really good in terms of expressions, detail and storytelling.
Solid in fact, I'm not expecting much from the actual conclusion though.
