Can the Justice League face Lex Luthor?
The new powerful Lex will have to deal with the whole team but even their combined forces won't be enough unless they get extra help.
Yeah, these summaries are starting to sound repetitive aren't they?
And with good reason since that's pretty much the same thing Scott Snyder has been doing for the last 12 issues or so. Big dumb fights that try to deliver big moments, particularly towards the end but again, Snyder is not Geoff Johns and doesn't understand how to execute such aspects in an entertaining manner.
The big surprise here is the return of Martian Manhunter... and really, that's one of the weakest cliffhangers in a while, I like J'onn but he's not really that relevant to the story and I certainly don't care for the new connection created between Lex and him so this pretty pointless for me. If you ignore that then you get a pretty barebones issue.
Jorge Jimenez and Daniel Sampere share the pencils and they do a solid job, particularly Jimenez thanks to his kinetic style.
Aside from that, this is yet another derivative chapter and I'm not expecting much from the conclusion.
