The team has finally arrived to their Earth and there they have just met the person who caused all these travels in the first place.
To answer the initial question: Not much.
And is getting really tiring how much Brian Bendis is pushing Naomi. It apparently wasn't enough for her to derail a few issues of Action Comics (although to be fair, is not like Bendis is progressing much of his own story even without her) but now she was forced into the title without much rhyme or reason since she doesn't provide any progress or contribution to the plot. Sure, she brought the doctor who sent Conner to Gemworld but at the same time, anyone else could have done that and nothing would have changed, not to mention that her own story is not going to progress at all until her second miniseries because that's how Bendis works so her inclusion is pointless.
That being said, the dynamic between the characters is entertaining enough and there are a few plot-points being developed here.
John Timms handles the art andis good thanks to his semi-cartoony style that provides clear expressions and a vibrant tone.
Not bad but please Bendis, stop promoting your pet characters.
