Whatever happened to Terra?
In the Dark Multiverse, Terra got tired of Deathstroke's manipulation but instead of that helping everyone, it only made things worse.
Yet another Dark Multiverse spinoff is here, this time is about a different outcome from the famous Judas Contract storyline from The New Teen Titans and while simple, is not without its interesting moments.
Kyle Higgins handles this one-shot and I must say that is good to see him again since I was a bit of a fan of his early New 52 work, particularly Deathstroke (and now that I think about it, it's pretty fitting he's handling this one all this considered). The story centers around Terra as I said who is somehow inspired by Dick Grayson, except that in the worst way possible since instead of becoming a better person, she just went worse.
And this makes a lot of sense actually since the original appearance of Terra portrayed her pretty much as a psychopath and so, is not like good people in her life could do much to help her, instead they just made her more ambitious, able to expand her powers in a way that never could before and take over the whole planet. It's actually kinda entertaining to see the way how she deals with all the superheroes in logical ways, even Superman, not to mention that Slade gets a short yet fitting depiction here as expected from Higgins.
Tom Raney handles the art and is solid with expressive characters and a flexible style.
Fun read, so far this has been a nice trend of tie-ins.
