Is Batman ready to get married?
Bruce has just proposed to Selina but before they take the next step, they will have to do a pretty dangerous mission to find an extremely dangerous person.
A new storyarc begins and guess what? It suffers from some of the usual issues from this run.
Tom King offers a new chapter where he follows the ramifications of the last one, particularly about Bruce and Selina being engaged. The story opens interestingly enough with both characters appearing in a pretty unique scenario while the justification for it is slowly being revealed and the reason behind turns out to be quite the surprise. Bruce's children also make an appearance here and credit where credit is due, their interactions are enjoyable at least and even characters from Grayson like Tiger make a cameo.
Now come the bad aspects.
The unique scenario where Bruce and Selina appear is quickly ruined by how suddenly the already hated words "Bat, Cat" appear. I mean, SERIOUSLY? Are Bruce and Selina still calling each other that instead of talking like two normal people who are in love or, heaven forbid, ACTUAL HUMAN BEINGS?! The dialogue as a whole can be pretty awkward and takes me out of the story almost immediately.
Joelle Jones' artwork is prettty good though with a beautiful style that depicts both men and women perfectly and the environments are also nicely drawn.
Not worth checking to be honest but let's see how it continues.
