Can Batgirl and Nightwing solve a case from their past?
One of their old friends was involved in a dangerous business that could put several people in danger and now it might be too late for one of them.
This is sadly not getting any better.
Hope Larson offers another chapter that alternates between the past and the present but the problem is that the story itself is not really compelling. The character who was introduced here is not interesting enough to invest so much time into, especially a "mystery" that is so fixated in her (and yes, I say "mystery" because is pretty simple and quite boring to boot) and funnily enough, her appearance didn't matter that much at the end considering what happened.
And the main villain is not that impressive either since we have seen barely any personality from her aside from her gimmick. The saving grace here are the interactions between Babs and Dick which can be enjoyable but even that doesn't save much.
Chris Wildgoose remains as the best aspect from the issue thanks to his beautiful artstyle that gets stunning semi-cartoony characters and strong storytelling.
Other than that, perfectly skippable like most of this series.
