The most unexpected couples are about to meet.
Veronica's father has decided to turn a swamp into an university and that doesn't sound good for Poison Ivy who is ready to protect the ecosystem no matter the cost.
I shouldn't be surprised about this kind of crossovers at this point since they have been quite frequent for the character of Harley Quinn, although the fact that this includes Poison Ivy and the Archie universe makes things a bit more interesting.
Paul Dini and Marc Andreyko deliver a story where they focus on the different realities that doesn't need much explanation about how this is possible (Seriously, there's no explanation at all about why these characters are able to interact which is not that bad considering we're talking about the continuity-free Harley Quinn) and manages to get both properties pretty well for the most part.
The characterization is pretty solid and I'm glad to see Dini coming back to Harley and Ivy since he really gets their personalities, is always cool to see the more serious and sarcastic Ivy to contrast with Harley's crazy and easygoing nature. Betty and Veronica are also nicely portrayed since their classic rivalry is clearly depicted which of course creates interesting parallels with the other pairing as well.
The humour is decent although the story doesn't really progress that much despite of the huge emphasis on the characters and I feel like it ended just before it started getting good.
Laura Braga handles the art and is decent with adequate expressions and storytelling although I wish it was more cartoony to fit the tone.
Decent enough, more interested in how it continues.
