Who is Wonder Woman's brother?
Diana has just learned about the death of Hercules but the fallen hero might have more secrets than she expected.
Things are getting more and more interesting.
James Robinson delivers a new chapter and this is starting to see more like one of his old stories. The worldbuilding that is classic in Robinson's tales is clearly present here. The universe around Diana is slowly being explored based on the death of Hercules (who might or might not be the same who appeared during Jeff Parker's Aquaman run) and the connection both have with the rest of the usual mythological settings around the world.
This is perfectly demonstrated by the introduction of a few relevant characters. If you know something about Robinson's work is that he loves to give the supporting cast really interesting personalities and this quite obvious in how Blake is portrayed, even the rest of Steve's little army seems based on the characters from the Wonder Woman movie and they're appropriately depicted. Hell, despite that Hercules received an expected death as a set-up for the story like in most Robinson's books, he still got decent moments of characterization before and after (this is not a Cry For Justice case fortunately).
Finally, Steve is much more strongly depicted here than in previous appearances due that his personality is more appropriate for the ex-leader of ARGUS (which is also referenced). The dialogue can be a bit off at times but is still tolerable.
Segio Davila handles the artwork and is quite solid with expressive characters and powerful action scenes.
Good stuff overall, excited for the next one.
