The Trinity will have to fight personal demons now.
Bizarro, Red Hood and Superman have been possessed and now is up to both Bruce and Diana to save them but things can get only worse.
And this story can get only worse as well.
Rob Williams delivers a new installment where barely anything really happens. There's an explanation behind Circe's actions at the very least but is one that is not particularly compelling and doesn't work as a cliffhanger either once that you think about it. This creates an issue where the characters just fight with one another basically and doesn't present much beyond that.
There's an attempt of characterization here but one that ends-up being pretty forced. For example, Red Hood is telling that Bruce is a killer at heart... which he's not, I think we have seen enough Batman stories to know that is not the truth so this kind of "dilemma" is pretty worthless. Constantine also gets an appearance but is once again, pretty pathetic. That's without mentioning the poor transitions between segments that makes the pacing erratic.
V. Ken Marion's artwork continues to improve at the very least with detailed characters and strong action scenes.
Just waiting for this to end and a new creative team to arrive.
