Nightwing will have to deal with the system he created.
Kate Kane is now in control of keeping metahumans in check and they're going after Dick's son and he will do anything to keep him safe.
The story gets more and more interesting.
Kyle Higgins offers a new chapter where he explores more about this future setting and the consequences that it creates. The way how the situation affected Kate seems strange yet appropriate due that the writer manages to make this new development accurate without making her completely unlikable and this is possible because there's someone who is truly unlikable here and creates classic themes about police brutality to boot.
The way how this particular future is explored is starting to become more compelling since Higgins devotes a few bits to see how other characters from Dick's life are handling their new status quo, this includes the ending which is quite exciting.
Trevor McCarthy remains in art duties and his work is still really good thanks to his creative artstyle and is pretty nice to see him drawing Kate again.
Solid installment, intrigued about the next one.
