It has been just a few months since Diana was revealed to the rest of the world and people are already doubting her role, especially Veronica Cale. However, there are bigger problems at hand.
The origin of Wonder Woman is basically continuing here.
It seems like Greg Rucka is still going to divide this title into the past and present. The story here is pretty solid with Rucka exploring more about how the world sees Wonder Woman, particularly people who are destined to become her enemies. Veronica Cale receives an interesting portrayal here by showing her motivations and how she's not exactly an one-note villain which is something you may expect already.
Plus, several other antagonists appear here like Phobos and Deimos, and what appears to be the reintroduction of Doctor Cyber which hopefully will have more appearances in the future.
Bilquis Evely handles the artwork and once again, her beautiful style and strong storytelling makes the script even better.
Solid overall, this better continue this way.
