The war is about to end.
Despero's powers continue to increase and both Adam Strange and Hawkman will have to put their lives at risk to stop him.
Some things worked, others didn't.
Marc Andreyko delivers a new chapter where he continues to develope the relationship between Adam and Katar while also progressing the story. The characterization is still solid with the interaction between the two protagonists being the strongest point and the natural dialogue helps a lot to make their scenes more entertaining. The action scenes are also nicely paced.
THE PROBLEM is that apparently the Green Lantern Isamot got killed out of scene in an unceremoniously way. This particularly bothers me because he has been an important character from the Green Lantern Corps since its rebirth and getting rid of him without even giving him a satisfying moment is a complete waste (I hope that this isn't the case though and he's actually alive).
Aaron Lopresti and Rodney Buchemi share art duties and the result is consistent for the most part with expressive characters and decent action moments.
Really hope I'm wrong in this one and Isamot isn't actually dead, it just screams disappointment.
