Harley has been torturing the Joker since he reappeared. However, there's something more about his intentions that one would expect.
That was a pretty interesting twist admitedly.
Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Conner offer a new chapter where he continue the story of the reencounter between Harley and her ex-boyfriend. While the last issue didn't give us much of a clue about the Joker's true intention, this issue reveals what is actually happening and is a nicely developed surprise due that the writers use one of their previous stories to explain the current situation and makes a lot of sense.
The character work is solid as usual once again demonstrating how much Harley knows about the Joker and she's not willing to fall into his traps which is one of the most admirable aspects of the book.
Chad Hardin, John Timms and Bret Blevins handle the artwork and the overall result is pretty consistent with the classic cartoony and bloody style you can expect.
Enjoyable issue, hope the next one is just as good.
