Some thoughts about Cyborg #9

The Anomaly continues to terrorize Cyborg's life.

Victor has just learned about his father's worst experiment and now he's going to pay for it.

Some of the usual strong and weak points.

John Semper Jr. offers a new chapter where he continues to develope the story about the Anomaly and its connection to both Victor and his father. The issue offers a lot of content which could have easily been handled in two chapters in other books, there's a lot of plot-progression and action scenes that make it much more varied and present a mostly satisfying read.

On the other hand, some parts are too expository for its own good like when Anomaly starts narrating his whole backstory to all and it becomes awkward quite quickly. It doesn't last for too long but is pretty noticeable.

Paul Pelletier handles the artwork and is pretty solid with expressive characters and strong action scenes.

Not bad but I wish Semper would polish some of his flaws.
