Blue Beetle will have to deal with the nature of his powers.
After his mother, Jaime is trying to learn more about his enemies and his connection to scarab and unfortunately, all of those aspects are going to bring him trouble.
This one wasn't as good as the last one but still decent.
Keith Giffen offers a new chapter where he focuses on Jaime's enemies as well as the mysteries of the scarab. The characterization is still solid with several segments dedicate to the whole cast and it was especially good to see more of the side-characters like Paco and his mother which most likely will be developed further in upcoming issues.
Aside from that, technically not a lot happened. There's the battle between Jaime and Mordecai (purposely ridiculous name) and more hints about the origin of scarab but aside from that there wasn't much plot progression and I wish the issue would have had more content.
Scott Kolins remains in art duties and is still appropriate for the book thanks to his expressive characters and vibrant action scenes.
Not the best issue sadly but readable.
