Cheryl Blossom's attack continues.
Cheryl is still trying to beat Veronica by seducing Archie but this might turn out to be more difficult than she expected once that she realizes what actually happened with her father's business.
Once again, this is a pretty charming read.
Mark Waid brings a new chapter where the ongoing rivalry between Veronica and Cheryl is developed. The characterization is once again pretty solid, the focus mostly goes to both Cheryl and Veronica who show how different they actually are from each other and how despicable Cheryl can be just to make her rival suffer. Veronica on the other hand demonstrates how despite of her fortune, she still has a great heart and that she cares about others, particularly Archie.
The rest of the cast also get solid moments. This wouldn't be an Archie comic if it didn't feature the main character and the few scenes where he appears still demonstrate how likable he can be and in contrast, Jason, Cheryl's brother, is just as bad as his sister.
Joe Eisma remains in art duties and his work is still ideal for the book thanks to the clean and expressive style that gets the characters perfectly and depicts the story nicely.
Solid installment, hope the next one arrives soon.
