The past continues to chase the Titans.
Mal is ready to get rid of his powers to live a normal life along his wife. However, the proccess might be more dangerous than he expected.
So far, so good.
Dan Abnett offers a new storyline this time focusing on Mal and Karen and their struggles to keep their usual lives. Considering that the last story was mostly centered around the main cast of the title, this is a nice change of pace and allows for a more interesting premise based on lesser-known characters and Abnett does a solid job at making both Mal and Karen interesting enough with personalities that contrast with each other's.
Plus, is always cool to see a classic team of villains reappear after being absent for so long. We all know who they are since the first time they appear but they're still depicted decently.
Brett Booth returns to art duties and his work is still quite kinetic during the action scenes while being able to depict interesting panels.
Enjoyable overall, let's see where it goes.
