Some thoughts about Batman & the Outsiders #11

Ra's Al Ghul's attack continues.

The team of assassins under Ra's orders are getting together to fight the Outsiders but the biggest fight is yet to come.

Yeah, this whole thing is feeling like padding and is not much of a surprise.

Bryan Hill offers a new installment where he continues this overly-long fight against Ra's Al Ghul and it's getting really tiresome to say the least. In fact, half of the issue is dedicated to action scenes that are not really that entertaining while the rest tries to focus on plot progression.

"Tries" being the keyword obviously since most of it seems like just a set-up for the actual final battle against Ra's and at this point it feels like a relief more than anything else. Not even the character dynamics which have been the highlight of this book, are that good here.

Dexter Soy's artwork is pretty good though with a beautiful grim and gritty style that contains a lot of detail.

Aside from that, this is still a pass and pretty sad.
