Some thoughts about Batman #90

Who is the Designer?

Years ago, Selina and other criminals went to see a mastermind who promised them great plans but he wasn't expecting such an evil's mind as the Joker's.

This worked quite a bit better.

James Tynion IV delivers a new chapter where he finally explores the background of this plot. The backstory concerning the current events and in particular the Designer is revealed and proves to be an interesting concept based on how each criminal needed to evolve in their own way if they wanted to truly become a challenge to Batman and of course, the Joker got the most from it.

The characterization is pretty solid since we see quite a bit from Selina's side and just a little from the Penguin and Riddler. If there's a complaint I could mention is about how much importance the Joker is given once again but on the other hand, it makes sense because of his history.

Jorge Jimenez handles the art and his work is pretty vibrant as usual with a pretty energetic form of storytelling.

Good read, hope things continue this way.
