Some thoughts about Deathstroke #25

Deathstroke will have to fight his own demons along with others.

The Secret Society has summoned Slade and now he will have to decide if he's really a hero or a villain.

Another quite satisfying issue right here.

Christopher Priest arrives with an anniversary issue focusing on Slade's background as well as a study of his psyche. The way how his past is explored is quite interesting due that it also shows the different reactions he had to the most important events in his life and the coldness he can demostrate towards them. The Secret Society also receive interesting portrayals due to their different perspectives about the definition "evil" and how they all feel about themselves.

This is not only a character exploration though since there are also great action scenes where Slade shows how skilled he is as usual although all of this comes with a twist and might have been a bit predictable but still works well enough.

Carlo Pagulayan is in charge of the pencils and his work is amazing with a beautiful and detailed style that gets the best from every character scene with a pretty polished finish.

Entertaining chapter, excited for the next one.
