Some thoughts about Titans #17

The Titans have just lost two of their members.

Wally has just died and now Donna will have to face her future-self including all the terrible things that will eventually happen.

Again, not a bad issue.

Dan Abnett continues his story about the reveal of the traitor of the team that after a few twists here and there, turned out to be Donna. The way how Abnett handles the characterization and revelations is solid since he implements developments that could happen based on the different characters and their classic traits. The focus is clearly on Donna though and she does present an interesting enough but still derivative in some ways dilemma, the idea of immortals getting rid of their human side is nothing new but at least is not badly-executed here.

The story itself doesn't progress much since this is pretty character-centric but still manages to play with a few plot-points that will most likely be developed in the following issues.

Minkyu Jung handles the art and is really good looking, full of expressive characters and vibrant action scenes.

Decent overall, let's hope the ending is satisfying.
