Some thoughts about Iron Fist #7

Who wants Iron Fist dead?

The people who are chasing Danny have now possessed Shang-Chi and now they will need to decide who is the best martial artist.

Another satisfying chapter.

Ed Brisson continues this team-up between the two most famous kung-fu fighters from the Marvel universe in a pretty logical manner. The characterization remains solid due that the writer understands the strength of both characters as well as the difference between their personalities. Mind you, Shang-Chi spends most of the issue mind-controlled but there is still a solid portrayal for him towards the end which contrasts nicely with Danny's.

And the fight scenes continue to shine here thanks to implementation of multiple fight styles and how is that used on the enemies that the protagonist is facing. All of this escalates solidly with a fast pacing towards the enjoyable ending.

Mike Perkins handles the artwork and is still one of the most important aspects of the book thanks to his ability to depict the battles perfectly in several different panels.

Pretty good read but I hope the next one offers more worldbuilding like the first arc.
