Some thoughts about Justice League #33

The Power Ring is willing to consume everything, how could the Justice League be able to stop it?

Nice Caulder has unleashed the Doom Patrol against the League and not even Lex Luthor's efforts can solve this situation. Now, their only chance to end with the whole conflict is to try to reason with the current owner of the Power Ring, Jessica Cruz.

The conclusion of this post-Forever Evil storyarc and I have to say that it has been a pretty satisfying one.

For one, Geoff Johns creates a plot in which characterization is key and is a pretty wonderful one. The Doom Patrol is portrayed perfectly considering their history, especially Niles Caulder since there are several hints about his true nature over the course of this chapter which go accord his previous incarnations.

Of course Lex Luthor is one of the protagonists and he's depicted perfectly. His interactions with every other character is something great to watch being either Caulder, Batman or Superman. They're simply entertaining scenes.

Speaking about hints, the Anti-Monitor is getting closer.

Doug Mahnke is in charge of the art for this issue and his work is quite polished and able to depict every moment excellently, the characters also look beautiful.

Fantastic issue and I continue enjoying the direction the series is taking.
