Is time for The Flash to live the present.
After his short journey to the future, Barry has decided to make every second of his life matter but what he doesn't know is that the end could come at any second.
This arc continues and does it in a logical way.
Joshua Williamson delivers a new chapter where he explores the ramifications of what Barry learned about his future. The importance of The Turtle is starting to make more sense now that I think about it considering the relevance of the Still Force and how that contrasts with Barry's classic abilities although this is not really the main focus of this issue.
The main focus in fact is devoted to the development of Barry's career as a superhero and that follows a pretty traditional path, one that respects a lot of his history and even references classic phrases of the series. This also developes a few plot-points like the inevitable appearance of Captain Cold.
Howard Porter remains in art duties and his work is still powerful, kinetic and perfect for the book, elevating the script even more.
Good read, hope the next one continues this trend.
