What's happening in Metropolis?
Robin Goode continues to expand her name around the Daily Star and this will lead her to a strange event that is happening in the city's underground.
This issue is completely suited around Event Leviathan and it's the perfect example of the word "Tie-in".
In fact, Brian Bendis is developing quite a few plot-threads he started during his Action Comics run in a way that are connected to his current crossover. The case of Robin Goode/Red Cloud continues and this time the story is told from her perspective which allows for an interesting vision of places like the Daily Planet as well as how things work around Metropolis which gives a few compelling aspects about how the city is different from places like Gotham.
This also gives us a bit of insight about characters like Rose & Thorn and Bendis creates a pretty intriguing portrayal for her and her place in Metropolis which of course, leads us to the story of Event Leviathan and how everything connects to it.
Mind you, all of this makes the flow of the read feel a bit disjointed because it seems like Bendis is throwing a bunch of stuff here for the sake of progressing everything up to the point that it makes me wish it was a separate story from the current event.
Szymon Kudranski handles the art and is really beautiful thanks to his vibrant style and perfect storytelling.
Decent read but it suffers a bit from the usual Bendis' approach.
