Some thoughts about Batman #73

Can Thomas Wayne help his son?

Thomas is taking Bruce to a place he thinks it can help him. However, Bruce is not so sure about all of this.

Typical King stuff, nothing more to say.

What is there to talk about in this issue? I could mention that there are a few kinda heartwarming scenes between Thomas and Bruce considering all of what they have respectively faced in their lives and they might have worked better in a better book, or at least in an actual complete issue?

Because this is yet another decompressed example of King's writing. Most of the chapter is dedicated to overly-dull fights where Thomas is singing like a dumbass and they're most definitely included in the issue just to waste time because that's all this is, a big waste of time. Other writers and runs would have at least tried to progress the plot a bit or adding more interesting moments but not here, not siree!

Mikel Janin's artstyle is still beautiful but he's completely wasted here due that there's nothing compelling to draw.

Skip this, even if you like this book for whatever reason I don't get.
