Some thoughts about Justice League #25

Can the Justice League face the future?

The World Forger believes he has the right vision to save the Multiverse but the Justice League will prove him wrong although that's far from their only problem because the Legion of Doom have executed their biggest plan.

An oversized anniversary issue is here and while I have had my complaints about this storyline and direction, I have to admit this one worked fairly well.

Scott Snyder delivers the conclusion of this arc by showing quite a few interesting moments. The way how Superman handles the struggle of escaping the Sixth Dimension is pretty well-executed with a palpable tension that escalates powerfully towards the glorious finale where Clark shows all the strength he has acquired thanks to his years of experience and because of his friends as well. Is a pretty good character moment and is satisfying considering everything that happened so far.

There are the classic issues concerning Snyder's writing like the third person narration but strangely enough, I think Snyder implements it better here due that it gives a bigger emphasis to the whole situation and helps selling it.

Jorge Jimenez contributes a lot to the script thanks to his energetic style that elevates the script to new levels thanks to his perfect storytelling.

There's a second feature written by James Tynion IV and it works surprisingly fine due that it finally reveals what the "Year of the Villain" actually means and shows that is a more complex scenario that I anticipated which makes me wonder about the future. Javier Fernandez' storytelling is on-point as always.

Good read overall, let's see if the whole event remains this way.
