Can things truly change?
Filo Math is trying to find the best solution to save his family but bigoted people won't make things any easy.
This miniseries is about to come to an end and at the very least, this issue was better than the last few ones.
Mark Russell delivers a new installment where he goes further with his social commentary. While the last couple chapters dwell into more simplistic themes, this goes fully political concerning racism and how the system only helps people when is convenient for the powerful. This goes in a pretty silly way as expected from Russell but still hits all the right notes about ignorance and people who are simply not willing to accept others.
The plot also leads to the concept of change and how some people believe is necessary to force it into the world, mind you, is pretty clear that Russell doesn't want to justify this belief fully due that it comes from the mind of a supervillain but let's see how the next issue explores that.
Stephen Byrne remains in art duties and his semi-cartoony style is still perfect for the series thanks to his great range of emotions.
Good chapter, hope the conclusion is satisfying.
