Crush is finally meeting her father.
Someone has contacted Lobo and told him against his supposed daughter and now he's ready to get rid of her just like he did with the rest.
This series continues to deliver.
Adam Glass offers a new installment that takes place immediately after the cliffhanger of the last one with Crush finally meeting Lobo. This is the encounter that has been teased pretty much since the beginning of this run and I'm happy to say that Glass didn't disappoint here due that the fight between Lobo and Crush is immensely action packed with lots of exciting moments and fast pace. Best of all is that the writer really nails the characterization and portrays him as a complete bastich who only thinks of himself and doesn't really care about even his own children and this is perfectly reflected in his dynamic with Crush.
The plot itself doesn't progress much because the issue is mostly devoted to the fight but all of this is so intense and the character moments are so good that you don't even notice. Pretty much what always happens during this run.
Bernard Chang remains in art duties and his work is still really vibrant and detailed, following the battle segments perfectly.
Great stuff, probably my favorite read of the week.
