Some thoughts about Adventures of the Super Sons #11

The Super Sons' final battle is about to begin.

Rex's madness keeps increasing and to defeat both Robin and Superboy, he's ready to execute his master plan.

Penultimate chapter and really light in that regard sadly.

Peter Tomasi is about conclude this story and title but I feel like this could have been easily told in at least 4 less issues. Many of the installments of this book have been pretty decompressed and this one is no different, in fact is basically just a big fight which Tomasi is just extending so he can reach the 12 issues this maxi series needed and it feels like a waste.

Sure, there are a few lines here and there but they don't really justify the lack of important events here. Speaking of which, that cover is a lie since Doomsdame didn't have any relevant role whatsoever, I don't think she even appeared which makes me think that some things changed along the way.

Carlo Barberi's art is really good though with strong expressions and vibrant touches.

Aside from that, hope that at least the conclusion is good.
