The deaths continue.
John Lynch is still looking for his former colleagues and sadly, this is going to the end in the same way as his last encounters.
Well, I shouldn't have expected much content here.
The last few issues from the story that Warren Ellis has been telling showed more plot progression that at least the 10 first issues. Unfortunately, he broke his pace here since the issue ends rather quickly and in a kinda unsatisfying way. The chapter focuses on a couple of key players meeting and giving more info about each one of them but that's all it is, exposition and nothing really revealing about the plot itself.
The most interesting part is about Lynch once again but mostly from a widescreen angle. Ellis uses his classic cinematic storytelling to give the section a solid presentation and even speaks a bit about mental conditions but it ultimately is more style over substance since it finishes pretty abruptly and doesn't offer much material.
Jon Davis-Hunt's art continues to be stellar and his storytelling is especially perfect during such cinematic segments.
Other than that, pure transition chapter. Nothing else.
