Can Wonder Woman save her people?
Diana, Aztek and Artemis are trying to fight against Gods and the only way to defeat them is to use Godly weapons.
Man, this is certainly impressive in quite a few aspects.
Steve Orlando offers a new chapter where he goes completely bombastic. The tone of the story is completely energetic and full of interesting ideas. The implementation of concepts like Hypertime and deities related to Aztek are powerfully implemented into the story and creates a pretty exciting read during the course of the story.
This comes with a few problems though. The whole read can feel a bit unfocused and erratic at times due to multiple things Orlando tries to handle at the same time which also makes the pacing feel a bit jumpy but doesn't ruin what is a pretty entertaining issue overall.
ACO deserves most of the praise though. His artwork gives the script a whole new dimension, being able to capture every page, every panel in an immensely inventive way and making the adventure much wilder. I still don't understand how he hasn't gotten a bigger gig yet.
Solid installment, hope the conclusion is good.
