How can the Green Lanterns win?
Something has infected the Green Lantern Corps are is willing to destroy them from the inside.
Okay, I accepted that the last issue was mostly a set-up and escalation but this one takes things a bit too far.
Dan Jurgens offers a new installment where he continues the battle between the Corps and a mysterious threat. The good points are that such enemy's presence continues to increase to the point of corrupting even the Corps' powers and making them start doubting each other.
The thing is that, aside from that, very little actually happens. Is mostly a big fight with a few unremarkable characters that mostly feel like filler and I believe the reason why this story is being so decompressed is because editorial mandated the series to end at a very specific number which unfortunately makes the arc suffer from it.
Marco Santucci's artwork is pretty solid though, he knows how to depict the cosmic event appropriately with a lot of spectacle in the backgrounds.
Not so good, hope the next one is better.
