Hermes and Dio are trying to find the culprit for the mysterious events that are currently occurring while Diana will have to use his new position as Queen of the Amazons to try to give peace to her people as long as she can. Sadly, one of the biggest menaces is about to arrive.
Brian Azzarello is obviously tying-up all the loose threads from his run at this point and in result he delivers one of the best Wonder Woman issues in a while.
The themes and sub-plots he has been creating since the start of his work on this series are giving their respective conclusion. If something that Azzarello has been trying to depict since day 1 is a Wonder Woman who is not perfect but is learning to improve herself and this issue exemplifies that concept perfectly.
Diana as the Queen of the Amazons is a really good role for the character and one that she uses quite adequately, the character work is as strong as usual with every member from the cast being portrayed greatly.
Goran Sudzuka is on art duties and his work continues to be expressive and really appropriate for the kind of tone of this story.
The end is already coming and it's good to know that the title is improving itself by getting closer to it.
