Nightmare Nurse may be even more dangerous and terrifying than anyone could have ever imagine.
Zatanna and the rest of the Justice League Dark are trying to help a young woman named Alice who appears to have been possessed by Nightmare Nurse all this time. However, there are two sides in this argument and so Asa will go looking for Constantine to also try to help her which may turn into something terrible for everyone.
J.M. DeMatteis continues to bring an intriguing new direction of this book by expanding the myths that already existed on it.
The characterization that the author gives to the cast is pretty solid, every member from the team receive a decent share of the spotlight and all of them reamain pretty competent during the course of the story. DeMatteis is also able to give characters like Swamp Thing a reason to keep being a part of the team and in Constantine's case a reason to return.
However, the best segments are the ones involving the different supernatural elements that should exist in this book, I really enjoy all the bizarre ideas that are created for this issue, especially the ones focusing on the House of Mystery.
Andres Guinaldo continues on art duties and his work is expressive when it needs to and bizarre when appropriate. I really like the style he delivers here.
Solid issue definitely, hope that this creative team continue to deliver the goods.
