Kyle Rayner has evolved into one of the most powerful beings in the universe. Now he will have to face the consequences.
After the terrible fight against a being that he helped created, Kyle arrives in a mysterious planet that apparently has suffered from a terrible devastation that was apparently provoked for its own people. However, the White Lantern will discover that his powers coudl have created one of the worst creatures that the universe has seen again.
I love this series, I truly do.
I won't offer spoilers a usual but let me tell you that this is a perfect one-and-done issue. Justin Jordan creates a story that explores a pretty interesting theme that is hardly touched in comics these days but does it pretty effectively without being preachy.
Not only that but at the same time it becomes a quite bizarre concept and creates a quite unique adversary for Kyle that I really hope doesn't disappear so soon. Such an interesting antagonist has a great amount of potential.
Oh and of course this also connects to the overaching plot, a bigger menace is indeed coming and it's great to see how all these little stories are related to it.
Diogenes Neves replaces Brad Walker on art and his work is wonderful. He's able to create a pretty good setting and he depicts the being that appears here quite powerfully.
Another excellent issue, you people need to read one of the best Green Lantern books these days.
