The Justice League has lost a lot of their members due to the Five and they will probably keep losing more.
Coeval, a glimmer-net life-form has manifested in the minds of many of the members from the Justice League and he's trying to manipulate them into doing his bidding. Their only hope is Hal Jordan despite that his new abilities might be more dangerous that what he can imagine.
This issue worked perfectly for me. The story and ideas brought by Keith Giffen are pretty compelling and intriguing while the dialogue brought by J.M. DeMatteis works wonderfully.
The characterization continues to be one of this series' strongest points, it's pretty obvious that none of these characters are the same as they were before not only because of being clones of the originals but also because of their original beings. The concepts work splendidly, especially the ones concerning Hal Jordan and the new developments for his powers.
The narration works pretty well too. The cast continues to demonstrate a lot of humour that also explores their characterization including some important aspects of the original members of the Justice League.
Howard Porter continues to bring a pretty energetic work on pencils, his style is incredibly creative and powerful which creates the perfect style for this series.
Another satisfactory issue, hope that future ones follow this pattern.
