Some thoughts about Teen Titans #22

Can the Teen Titans work as a team?

Roundhouse is apparently dead and now Kid Flash feels responsible for it but there won't be time to mourn since a new villain has just appeared.

This worked in many levels once again.

Adam Glass brings a new chapter where he plays with the ramifications of the last one. The apparent death of Roundhouse has affected the whole cast in many ways to the point where they believe they need to improve their skills if they want to keep being the Teen Titans, this is even clearer in Wally who feels much worse due that he was the one who brought Roundhouse to the team in the first place.

This allows for a pretty interesting character dynamic, the interactions between the cast was already pretty good but here it becomes even better thanks to the different conversations they all have and shows how the relationships are starting to being developed from multiple angles. It also presents an interesting dilemma for them about if is really worth it to let their enemies live.

Oh, and it also presents a pretty hilarious surprise at the end.

Bernard Chang handles the art and is really good thanks to the expressive characters and vibrant style.

Great read, loved every part of it.
