Some thoughts about The Curse of Brimstone #6

The curse has been extended to children now.

Joe and Annie are trying to survive the attack of little monsters but how can they fight when those monsters are just kids?

Once again, this proves to be a very effective horror story.

Justin Jordan delivers the conclusion of this little arc playing with an interesting dilemma for our heroes. The Salesman has expanded his deals to another town and this time has affected just a regular boy which of course brings a compelling conflict for Joe who doesn't know if is right to destroy him or not. Not to mention the fact that the kid didn't know what he was dealing with when he accepted.

The overarching plot continues to be developed, this time involving another antagonist who initially seemed like an ally and creates a solid parallel with Joe since it demonstrates how he's losing himself to the curse to the point where he's becoming like the monsters he's fighting.

Denys Cowan handles the art and is serviceable but not the best, the rough style works fine enough for the tone of the story but the storytelling is not that clear.

Solid read though, can't wait to see what's coming next.
